The Attentive Traveler – London, England – Restaurant Review – Signor Sassa

One of our basic rules of travel is to always listen to the advice of your taxi cab driver. You’ll know right away if the driver is tuned into what is happening in an area. When our driver asked if we had dinner plans as he drove us to our home-away-from-home in the Kensington Area and we said no… he strongly recommended Signor Sassi

Bit of a spoiler here… but it was so good that we canceled one of our standing reservations for later in the week and ate here again! 🙂

From the menus above, I had the Ravioli Sassi on our first visit, and the Fettuccine Alfredo with prawns added on our second visit. My wife had the Risotto Signor Sassi both times (yes… it was that remarkable!!)

We also enjoyed the Funghi Trifolati as a side, along with some cheese bread. For desserts, I had the Pere Al Chianti (both times) and Jackie enjoyed the ice cream.

Dinner Night one. Very rich and satisfying. Perfect size portion for everything else we had.

Dinner Night #2 – This was the best Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had. The menu is not lying when they say it is a unique experience!

This was Jackie’s meal. The ham is wrapped around the Risotto. It was likely Jackie’s favorite meal she may have ever had… 🙂

Sides were pretty darn good as well…

Life is too short to skip dessert… 🙂

Or Vino….

It was a remarkable experience. We would very highly recommend that if you are in the South Kensington area that you give Senior Sassi a try!
