For our three days and two nights in Siena, we chose the Hotel Chiusarelli.
Hotel Chiusarelli has a mix of 48 classic and modern rooms in a beautiful, frescoed Neoclassical villa.
It is located just outside the medieval town center on a busy street, so make sure you ask for a quieter room in back.
This is a favorite of the Rick Steve’s tours – in fact there was a group in the hotel on our first night taking a tour.
We were in Room #43
The room was not fancy, but it was clean and roomy.
As normal – the bathrooms are small by American standards. You can see not much room between the stool and the bidet. 🙂
Hi Jackie!
Best thing about the Hotel Chiusarelli – location. Cross the street and you start working your way down hill in the old town.
Worst thing? The uphill walk back… 🙂 But we would stay here again.
