After our wonderful breakfast and visit with John Venator and the good folks of the Valladolid Magico Rotary Club, it was off for an afternoon of relaxation at the Zaci Cenote

Cenote’s are caves where the roof has fallen in and filled with water. In this warm landscape, they are valued – even sacred. The team had a good time snacking, staying hydrated, and cooling off at the cenote.

We also had time during the afternoon to take in the historic central square as well as the rebuilt church that dominates one side of the square.

After showering and resting, it was off to our first team dinner. The team was introduced to some of the wonderful food of the Yucatan, and friendships were established and rekindled/renewed.
