We have been to the Country Music Hall of Fame a number of times over the past decade. We are impressed how the displays continue to change and update – making a visit feel unique and new! One of the things we do before each visit to the HOF is check what the exhibits are and how they have changed. This year, it was a new focus on Martina McBride and an entire floor dedicated to the Western Edge: The Roots and Reverberations of Los Angeles Country-Rock. There was also a new exhibit dedicated to Chris Stapleton.
Before diving in… I’m always so impressed with the growth in Nashville!
First up and as promised – a few shots from the Martina McBride Exhibit:
Chet Atkins has always been one of my heros. No one plays guitar quite the same way as Mr. Atkins.
The majority of the 2nd floor has been dedicated to the Western Edge Exhibit and Chris Stapleton exhibit.
Having just seen Chris Stapleton this year in Minneapolis, we were very interested to find this in-depth exhibit to Mr. Stapleton:
The other section that always draws our attention is the Unbroken Circle area – that draws connections between the current country scene, it’s past, and the new upcomers. I’ll close with a few of our favorites.
