Is it too early to begin thinking about our travel plans for 2025? We don’t think so! 🙂
Jackie and I have an aggressive travel schedule laid out for 2025. Well, at least I do. Our aim each year is to approach 90 days a year exploring this wonderful world. I think one of us will get pretty close this year.
So looking ahead… here is what is on tap for 2025:
January:
Bill & Jackie will visit:
Savannah Georgia (3 days/2 nights)
The Florida Keys (21 days)
Walt Disney World, Orlando (7 days)
February:
Bill will be visiting:
Valladolid, Mexico (5 days)
Merida, Mexico (4 days)
May:
Bill will be visiting:
France (24 days)
June:
Bill will be visiting:
France (10 days)
Jackie and I are excited to reengage with our “staycation” long weekend getaways. A “staycation” for us is a visit to a county in our state of Wisconsin. We follow a set of rules:
- Must sleep in the county (normally b&b)
- Must eat all meals in the county
- Must hike in a state park in the county (if available)
- Must visit any breweries and/or wineries in the county
- Must visit all historical markers/Highway historical markers in the county.
This can make for some pretty busy weekends! But it also allows you to go deep in a certain area and get to know many of the county charms.
Here is our “staycation” schedule for 2025:
July
Chippewa Falls County, Wisconsin
August
Clark County, Wisconsin
September
Columbia County, Wisconsin
If you are interested in learning more about our staycations and perhaps even join us – be sure to reach out!
Finally, we’ll take our Fall Escape:
October
We will be visiting one of our favorite fall sights – Nashville, Tennessee.
Looking forward to a fantastic 2025!
