My wife and I were very excited to finally get a chance to enjoy the popular “Jaleo” restaurant in Disney Springs. We decided to go all out and enjoy a number of Tapas along with some main menu items.
First up – some Cecina. It is cut right at the table!
The sampler appetizer offered some unique items. The olive on a spoon (in olive oil) is consumed similar to eating an oyster. Yum!
This cold salad was not my cup of tea… but certainly tasty!
Served on a slice of lettuce, some seasoned cheese topped with roasted sliced almonds. VERY easy to eat. 🙂
The roasted stuffed pepper was wonderful – and I don’t really like Peppers. The cubed seasoned potatoes were a real hit.
The sausage was a bit spicy for my taste… as well as a bit of a different texture. I believe it was called Fuet (but not 100% sure).
Here are the main courses. The beef was very tender. The sauce had some kick! The prawns served in a curry/butter with sliced scallions was very rich and savory.
With such a mix of flavors, was very glad to have some good vino to wash it down.
