Just off Whitaker Street, heading towards Ellis square, is a nice little spot for a nice breakfast or lunch – the Little Duck Diner.
The Little Duck Diner describes itself as a “vintage chic diner” reminiscent of dining cars and diners of the late 20’s and 30’s with a contemporary twist.
The name was inspired by the owners “little ducklings” – their children.
The menu consists of their children’s favorite dishes, as well as other unique items from around the world. They describe it as southern charm meets modern retro eatery. I enjoyed the “Little Duck in Paris” – French Toast, applewood bacon, cagefree eggs, maple syrup… with saigon cinnamon.
Simply delicious. Highly recommended.
