Tucked away on Chapel Street, Watson’s Bistro serves freshly prepared modern and traditional Welsh food in a warm wood-floor-and exposed-beam setting. Dishes are made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu and setting feel chef inspired, so expect a bit of a splurge for dinner.
I had the pan-cooked filet medallion.
Jackie had a special – and I did not catch the name (sorry).
We both thought this place was nice – food was pretty good. Atmosphere was great. It did not feel touristy – and as noted earlier it felt like the kitchen controlled the menu. I’d give it a try if you are looking for a quiet quality dinner.
